A helping hand, if you're out there....:-)

I wanted to write this post because some newbies have mistaken me to be connected to an airgun maker in Bulacan, JBC.

To correct that impression, I wanted to tell everyone that I am in no way connected to any airgun maker whether the maker has the same surname as me, "De Leon" or JBC or Armscor or Muli airguns.

If you're from out there not in Luzon wanting to own a JBC airgun, maybe I can help you but you have to follow some rules. Rule no. 1 is you have to be patient, a quality airgun takes time to complete and due to the long line of listed airgunners wanting to own a quality airgun, the turn around now is very long(more than 4 months).

A friend in Dumaguete has to wait for 7 months actually for his JBC bolt before he could lay his hands on in. So far I have assisted 3 friends of mine in acquiring their airguns.

The first one is an Italian "Bisaya" (rest peace Luigi๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŽš) who lives in Davao with his Visayan wife. He wanted to buy my hammer type 0.177 JBC when he saw it at our plant. It was all black then with a medium T6 aluminum tank and prssure gauge on an ordinary wood stock. He said he has a CO2 airgun but the power is so low. He has a farm in Davao where he usually roam around with his airgun. He's now in Vietnam commissioning packaging equipment for cement from Italy.(RIP my friend๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŽš)

With his lots of pleases and requests, I was forced to order one for him(instead of selling mine) and send the unit to him to Davao. Rule no. 2 is he has to carry all the risks. I'm not earning a thing here in helping him or helping JBC have an order. This is just my way of thanking JBC for their quality airguns that I own(I have 3 already, 1 bolt, 2 hammer and one pistol coming). Once the unit is shipped to him, the risks are all his. Another happy Italian Bisaya with a JBC Hammer Type in

The latest friends I sent their orders where long time forum buddies in yahoo. One is from Cebu who used to work in Saudi Arabia. He ordered directly from JBC but the problem was when its nearing completion, he can't find someone to bring the airgun to Cebu at the cheapest cost for him, without the hazzle of going back and forth to the shop and to the forwarder and to Crame for registration. Its his second JBC by the way, another friend shipped the first one to him, a hammer type JBC. I shipped his JBC bolt to him and now he's enjoying tinkering with it. Until now, he has not tuned it properly..ha-ha-ha....its nearing its tune by the way and the last time we chat was he's having good results, mine is not tuned to its optimum tune by the way also but its shooting well... I got 6/10 at 100 yards shooting a ram silhoutte.

The other one is a funny friend from Dumaguete whom he said had worked in the Amazon jungle some years back. He had used an airgun that never leaked there...he-he... He's a fat, ok chubby only, Electrical Engineer and I think he has the best tune amongst our JBC bolts..his handle in our forum is "Bayabas" and is sometimes called "Prutas" by those angry with him...he-he..., it took him 7 months of waiting. He didn't regret it because he said he learned from it that "Patience is a Virtue".

A few months ago, another addict airgunner asked me a favor to order for him, he's from Mindanao, I forgot his exact place, its in my e-mails but he's now temporarily assigned in Cebu. I don't even remember what's the specs he ordered..he-he...its listed in Ka Gilbert's small notebook together with other orders in line waiting for their precious PCP airgun. His name is Pablo P., Jr. also an Engineer.

I almost forgot, before the Visayan Guy from Mindanao, there's the Ilonggo from Ilo-ilo who asked me to order a JBC bolt for him, he's connected with a drug company and is based there somewhere in Ilo-ilo...(sorry, I forgot your address, effects of the virus that attacked me in Cebu a long time ago)... we've been chatting a few minutes ago computing how much he will hide money from his wife who didn't know he ordered an airgun worth a lot of money...ha-ha-ha... How will you show it to your wife "Viper" a.k.a. "Snakeyes", I don't know why he loves the snakes handles...he-he..., maybe its the reason why a snake went to their house one time and with his so many airguns, he didn't hit the snake..he-he-he...stories..just sharing, don't get angry..he-he...

Off course, there's also Mr. G. from Bacolod who ordered his JBC bolt, he sent some money already, maybe he's hiding the money from his wife even if his airgun is not yet finished, he insisted on sending..he-he... I sent his money thru Ka Willie's wife just the other day.Take note Bro...Ka Willie and Joseph confirmed it already...

The problem now Guys is this..... the woodworker, Jessie, went on vacation and has not yet returned...so your waiting time may be longer, don't forget the virtue..."Patience" he-he-he, my pistol whom Mang Jun told me that will be finished in 3 weeks is now on its fourth week also..he-he...

Ah, I almost forgot, the big guy from the US who's coming home this October also asked me to order a hammer type for him...he-he, maybe this Christmas or New Year it will be finished..Kuya Ray...matagal pa yung sayo.... he's also a kababayan of mine from our rice province of Nueva Ecija.

Did I forget someone?? Please let me know... You know my e-mail and my cell number.....

By the way, there's a friend who's selling his standard JBC Bolt with extra tank, 16" Lothar Walther barrel, pressure gauge and silencer for 30k only. You'll save around 2.5k, pleaselet me know and we'll help this friend of mine. It in 177 by the way...plus 5k if you wanted to have 0.22 also(3500 for the JBC barrel and 1500 for the 0.22 stainless bolt.)...(sold)

So long for now, enjoy airgunning and practice now, there's a competition this coming Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at the PNSA range in Taguig at the Marines Firing range... see you there!!!
